ChapmanWorld is a personal website. I do not want to collect personal information about visitors, track people around the web, sell visitor data, or build marketing profiles.

The site is meant to be simple: you visit pages, read things, maybe search the site, maybe choose to share a page, and that should be about it.

ChapmanWorld may keep basic visitor statistics so I can understand whether the site is being used and which pages people find useful.

This may include things like:

I do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

I do not intentionally store personal information such as names, email addresses, account details, or individual visitor profiles for normal browsing.

ChapmanWorld does not use cookies for normal browsing.

If that ever changes, this page will be updated to explain what is being used and why.

The site may include a search box. Search is there to help visitors find pages on ChapmanWorld. I do not use search queries to identify visitors or build profiles.

Some pages may include embedded videos, most likely from YouTube. These will usually be videos I created myself.

Where possible, I will use more privacy-friendly embed options. Even so, embedded content from another service may still be handled by that service according to its own privacy policy.

ChapmanWorld may link to other websites.

Once you follow a link to another site, that site’s own privacy policy and practices apply. I try to link responsibly, but I do not control what other websites do.

ChapmanWorld may include a way for visitors to share pages with social media sites.

If I offer something for sale, I do not currently plan to sell it directly through ChapmanWorld. I may link to third-party stores such as Steam, Microsoft, Apple, Google, or similar services.

If you buy something through one of those stores, the sale is handled by that store. They may collect information needed to process the transaction under their own terms and privacy policies.

I may receive limited information from those stores, such as sales reports or support-related information. I will not use that information to track visitors to ChapmanWorld.

If you contact me directly, I may receive whatever information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message. I would use that information only to respond to you.

I do not sell visitor data.

I do not provide visitor data to advertisers.

I do not use visitor data for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.

Some information may be handled by normal service providers needed to operate the site, such as web hosting, video platforms, analytics tools, or third-party stores. Those services have their own privacy policies.

This policy may be updated if the site changes.

The intent will remain the same: ChapmanWorld should collect as little visitor information as practical while still letting me run the site and understand whether people are reading it.
